Movement SpaceA community-building workshop for your studio

Own a studio?

Want a strong community
and trainees who want to come to the studio
again and again?!
You've come to the right place!

For studio owners and communities

Whether you run a studio for strength training,
yoga, Pilates or CrossFit...
What so many studios are missing
to truly succeed
is a sense of belonging.
because when trainees feel they belong –
they stay.

As someone who wears two hats,
I'm a fitness trainer myself
and I train at several studios,
I see how much it's missing in so many places.
and in places where there's a sense of belonging,
it's just so much more fun to show up.

A group of trainees standing in a circle in the studio

I offer you a super fun workshop,
full of play, movement and conversation,
that connects, bonds,
and most importantly –
turns your group of trainees
into one community

Movement Space

Who it's for

  • For owners of fitness, Pilates, yoga or dance studios,
who want a strong, connected community that stays together over time,
and not just another list of memberships.
  • For a studio that wants to give its community real value.
Perfect for highlight events: a season opening, a holiday or the studio's birthday,
and for events that create buzz and togetherness.
  • For bonding your team:
for anyone who wants a close, committed team with a real connection to the place they work.
When instructors feel they belong, the trainees feel it in every class.
  • A trainer or trainee who loves your studio?
It can come through you, too:
connect me with the studio owners.

The journey

What happens in a session

  1. Breaking the ice

We start with movement and play: the ice breaks, the laughter starts, and everyone steps into the circle.

  2. Community speed-dating

Quick rounds of getting to know each other, a new face each time, with questions at different levels of depth.

  3. Moving together

The body connects even before words do: pair and group exercises that build trust, closeness and lots of laughter.

  4. Closing circle

One last heart-opening game, then a close with community value: everyone shares something they can pass on, and whoever it speaks to writes it on a note. That's how the connection continues after the workshop.

My story

How this workshop was born

I know studios from both sides: as a trainer and as a trainee.

Juli in pink workout clothes, sitting in the studio next to a box and a ball, winking and sticking out her tongue

And as a trainee, over the years I noticed something that keeps repeating in how I choose where to train. Of course I want a good workout, a professional trainer and a place where I feel I'm progressing. But just as much, I'm looking for that feeling of being at home.

Knowing the woman training next to me, laughing before class, noticing when someone didn't show up, and feeling I have a place inside something a little bigger than me.

And that made me think about the place where we meet almost every week: the studio. On one hand, it's a place we come to get stronger, to move and to feel good in our bodies. But on the other hand, it's also a very sensitive place.

There we meet our body as it is: the insecurity, the aches, the days we have no energy, and sometimes the feeling that we're really not where we'd like to be.

And that's exactly why I think this space should feel pleasant, safe and like you belong. A place you can come to on a good day and on a not-so-good day.

As a trainer, I see the body as the shared point of connection for everyone in the studio. We all came there for something to do with our bodies, and I believe that through that connection we can create more connections.

To really get to know each other.
To open up.
To laugh.
To feel part of it.

So I decided to try it myself.

I ran the first workshop at the studio where I train people, with the trainees I see every week. And what happened there was exactly what I had hoped for: something opened up. There were moving moments, lots of laughter, and trainees who had never met really got to know each other. It was so heart-opening that I knew I wanted to bring it to more studios and more communities.

Because to me, a studio isn't just a place to work out.

It's a place where you can feel at home.

How it feels

Screenshot of Pnina's WhatsApp message (in Hebrew): My dear Juli, the workshop was amazing. I felt you knew the character of the studio and knew exactly how to fit the content to the spirit of the girls. You had a free hand and it proved itself. The atmosphere was lovely, you led the evening with really good, precise energy, flowed with the girls and knew how to read their needs spontaneously. Thank you!!! You're the best

Questions

Questions people ask me

When should I reach out and book a date?

As soon as there's a date, get in touch. It's best to book ahead, so you can lock in the date that works for you and we have time to plan the workshop together calmly. (And if it's really last minute, message me and we'll see what we can arrange)

Do I need to prepare or organize anything?

I bring everything the workshop itself needs: decorations for the atmosphere, cards, paper and pens. On your side: the space, food, drinks and seating.

How many people can take part?

No minimum and no maximum. I adapt the workshop to the size of the group, from a small circle to a full hall.

Do I need to be fit?

No. No fitness, dance experience or special ability needed. Just show up, no preparation at all.

Does it work for trainees who don't know each other?

That's exactly what the workshop is for. It's built to bring everyone into the circle, literally. Including (especially) whoever just joined the studio.

Is the workshop for everyone?

Yes. The workshop suits every gender and every age, from 12 up.

Can the workshop be tailored to a holiday or an event?

Yes. I tailor the workshop to the holiday or event the studio is celebrating, and of course personally too, after the consultation and planning call with the studio owners.

And what if I need to cancel?

Cancelling 14 days or more before the workshop: the deposit is fully refunded. Less than 14 days: the deposit isn't refunded, subject to the legal right of cancellation. And if I cancel, for any reason, the deposit is fully refunded. All the details are in the terms.
